Unnecessarily wordy and incorporating a great deal of text from the works of others. As a narcissist himself, Vaknin truly knows his subject matter. As such, the expectation was for a more lucid presentation of the impact of a narcissistic mother on the formation of an adult and his/her relationships with significant others.
