This short story is an incredibly spicy romance written with style and pizzazz. Dane McCoy's sister always gets what she wants and this time she begs her wealthy brother to finance a health spa she and her boyfriend want to start. To further convince him, she begs him to allow another new friend of hers (her boyfriend's sister Esme - a former sex therapist) to vacation with Dane on his island, stay in his sprawling big house and further discuss their plans. In Good Hands takes place on an island in the Gulf of Mexico where Dane McCoy lives in seclusion and spends most of his time working at his computers. Marilee, his much younger sister wants to start a sex therapy spa and sends Esme her future partner's sister to visit her brother in hopes that she will talk Dane into backing her plan.
Esme an artist with an assignment to draw beach pictures for a picture book, comes to the island to work on her project. Marilee told Esme that Dane is a workaholic older guy, so when sexy Dane meets her plane she is in for a big surprise, he is instead hot and sexy guy slightly older than she is and the fireworks start with instant attraction.
The reality of Dane's work is kept secret until the end of the story when his help of victims of an apartment fire praise him for his help on the news. Esme finds that everything she thought about Dane is false and you will have to read the story to find out if these two star-crossed lovers find each other for a happily ever after ending to a great love story with just the right amount of spicy sex.

I really enjoyed this book. Will read anymore that I find by this author.
I got hooked and didn't put it down once. This is definitely worth reading. The story line was a different twist then i thought it'd be.
Dane and Esme definitely have chemistry but their story is too short. They fall into bed and love so quickly, and you lose out on character development. I enjoyed Sheedy's writing but wished for more of it.
Oh, Dan's sister, Marilee, is a manipulator!! It's hard to get to angry with her when she's right... but still....
